Dear Mr. Darkwing
I am writing to you to express my displeasure concerning your company’s guaranties for a pleasant holiday. For instance, your second guaranty in the travel brochure:
“Every day, our customers will receive free breakfast at one of our hotels.”
Already the second day we did not receive a breakfast and we had to go to the diner across the street from our hotel. This happened a total of three times during our stay, and this did cost us a total of 113 Euros. We expect to get the total amount refunded (you can find the receipts included within this letter).
Your guaranties number four and six:
“Our customers will, if ordered receive a wake-up call, any time of the day.”
“As one of our customers you will be guaranteed to have excellent service at your disposal and our personnel will be there to assist you if you need anything”
Several times I experienced your employees to be overworked and unable to satisfy our needs. In the lobby there were only two employees, and over ten different groups of people to handle. We had to wait for over thirty minutes to reach the counter. And we almost missed our flight back home as a result of the fact that we didn’t receive any wake-up call, even if I said precisely the time.
I really believe you need to hire more people at your hotel and improve your routines.
I have one last complaint: When I unpacked my suitcase, some of my personal belongings were smashed, amongst others a small souvenir sculpture made of glass.
I hope you, and your company understand my disappointment and that you make some improvements in your system and hire some new employees, who knows how to take better care of the customers.
Yours sincerely
Espen Jansen
